Why you should use a reading log

Although I’m a huge fan of digital reading platforms, having a tangible book log in front of me has so many added benefits.

  1. You can take time to unplug and get creative with your notes.
  2. You’ll notice patterns in your reading, and you’ll be able to see which themes and genres work better for you.
  3. You can collect your thoughts in one organized location.
  4. My reading logs include a book reviews template, which will help you remember what books you loved and hated for the future!
  5. You can have fun tracking your progress! Seeing the list of monthly books grow is encouraging and inspiring.
  6. You can track your daily reading time with my weekly reading log template. There are certain reading challenges that encourage you to read for a certain amount of time per day, and this template is perfect for that! It’s also great if you just want a good idea of how much you’re actually reading.
